For the last eight years, the dedication and professionalism of Barstool Open volunteers has been the key to the event's success. We welcome back our volunteers from last year's event and we look forward to meeting new volunteers excited to support UCP!

Each hole will be constructed by the sponsoring bar. UCP is in need of hole captains, course marshals, and transportation coordinators. Hole Captains should try and recruit at least 3 course marshals to assist with operation of their hole. Recruitment of the marshals by each Captain is not required, but recommended as you'll have more fun with your own team.

Transportation Coordinators have the integral job of ensuring efficient golfer transportation throughout the course. At each stop, transportation coordinators will work with Hole Captains to make sure all golfers are moving on to the next hole and the pace of play is maintained.

Hole Captains: Greet golfers, confirm rules and boundaries, responsible for hole operation. Captains may recruit course marshals for their hole.

Course Marshals: Facilitate golfer registration, scoring, and pace of play.

Transportation Coordinators: Ride along on the bus routes; contact Hole Captain to announce bus arrival for golfer pick-up.

Pre-event preparations: Preparations will begin 2 weeks prior to the event. All volunteers will receive training preceding the event. Training sessions will be scheduled to provide all volunteers with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the event's layout.
